Christopher Schmitt, DPM DABPM
Dr Schmitt is from Irving, Texas. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where he majored in biology and minored in chemistry. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, he taught anatomy at Jackson State Community College before moving to Des Moines, Iowa to attend podiatry school at Des Moines University. He earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) in 2009. He then completed his residency in Detroit Michigan in 2012 at St John Hospital and Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. he is on staff at Baylor - Waxahachie as well as Methodist - Midlothian. He has been a part of the Ellis county community since 2013.
Dr Schmitt is married, has 4 daughters and 1 son. He enjoys beekeeping, playing guitar and spending time with his family when he is not working.
